Product Description
KLEN 1808 is specially developed to handle oil spills on land or sea. It effectively emulsifies oil to allow natural bacterial action to absorb and decompose tiny droplets, reducing fire hazards and water pollution.
KLEN 1808 is biodegradable and does not harm marine life.
Areas of Use
KLEN 1808 can be used to disperse oil waste on dock area, deck, slips, bilges, sumps, harbour, steamship companies, marinas, dry dock, coastal refineries, off-shore oil rigs, oil transportation companies etc.
Special Features
- Fast action. KLEN 1808 penetrates, dissolves oil into tiny droplets to allow natural bacterial action to absorb and decompose completely.
- Non flammable, non corrosive and non toxic. KLEN 1808has flash point higher than 115°F, does not harm zinc, aluminium, admiralty metal and fibreglass, is low in toxic and does not harm skin or marine life.
Directions for Use
- Apply undiluted KLEN 1808 directly onto contaminated area by spray, mop or brush.
- Leave to emulsify for few minutes then hose away with water.
- For oil pollution in water, spray or pour directly to oil spilled area.
- Agitation in sea for heavy oil slick is usually facilitated by power boat propellers or high velocity water hose.
Precaution
As with all chemical products, avoid ingestion and eye contact. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after use.
